Gearing up for 2020 #newyeargoals #writinggoals

Every year I try to sketch out the game plan for upcoming releases and writing schedules. This year is no different, and as a believer in the mantra that if you write it down, you’ll actually accomplish it, below is my attack plan for 2020. Fair warning, it’s debatable if I’ll emerge in 2021 sane or not, but what’s life without a few challenges, right?

Keep in mind, while my intentions are true, some of these dates may shift a bit because…well…life.

First up, LINKED BY DECEPTION, the fifth PSY-IV Teams book hits shelves on February 11, 2020. Right now it’s available for pre-order at a special $2.99 price.

January will be spent writing a free short story that will be out in May. It will be a prequel to a new Urban Fantasy series. This series will dominate the remainder of 2020 and probably into 2021 as I work on the first three books. Think The Transporter meets Supernatural…or something close to it.

Because of this heavier than normal writing schedule, I’m hoping to hit the following release dates:

  • February 11, 2020 LINKED BY DECEPTION – PSY-IV Teams #5
  • May 2020 Free Short Story Prequel for new UF series
  • August 2020 Book 1 new UF series
  • September/October 2020 Box set of PSY-IV Teams 1-4
  • December 2020 Book 2 new UF series

While 2020 promises to be a doozy of a year, 2021 and 2022 are on the board as well. As 2021 comes around, I’m hoping to get Book 3 of new UF series out, the sixth and last Kyn Kronicles book out, a complete box set of all the Kyn books, and a box set of the new UF series Books 1-3 and maybe one of the PSY-IV Teams. Which means I should be well on my way to getting the last of the PSY-IV Teams out in 2022.

I do have a couple of events to add to my lovely overbooked schedule —

February 1 I’ll be taking part in the 7th Annual Scottsdale Library Local Author Booksale

March 7th I’m swinging over to Spilling Ink Podcast.

Keep an eye on the COMING SOON tab for more updates.

And while I face down my to-do list, here’s wishing you all the best with your 2020 goals!
